With the lip procedure, one can choose to have just the lip-liner that gives definition to the vermillion line & cupids bow or have a full lip color that replaces the melanin we have lost as we mature. With Advanced Dermagraphics, we prefer to use shades that provide a “natural look” to enhance your beauty while allowing your lip color to be versatile for day-to-day wear. We also have Poppy Red, Coral or Hot pink for a more dramatic look too.

The art of restoring the appearance of an areola to patients who have undergone a Mastectomy and Breast reconstruction is a blessing. Tammy D’Eramo uses a technique that involves shading to create a three-dimensional look effect. Different shades of pigment are used to create the illusion of a nipple. We can also enhance existing areolas by darkening & increasing the size.

Areola Restoration
Permanent Eyebrows
Eyebrows frame the eyes & give expression to the face. The proper shape & placement of the brows is essential. Tammy D’Eramo performs a patch test on all eyebrow patients to make sure there is no adverse or allergic reaction. She then waits one (1) week before proceeding with the procedure. Before implanting the pigment, the patient & technician agree on the design & shape that is best suited for the individual’s features. A topical (numbing) anesthetic cream is applied to the area - this takes approximately 30 minutes. The entire process takes 11/2 to 3 hours depending on how much shaping & designing is needed to achieve the desired result. While the procedure is healing, it should be cleansed daily, patted dry & a thin application of petroleum jelly applied as often as needed to keep the area moist. During the healing process it is the nature of the procedure to expect from 20% to 40% of the color to exfoliate. The subsequent visit is scheduled 6 to 8 weeks after the initial procedure. The procedure should last approximately 2 to 3 years depending on the individual’s skin & how it is cared for.

Microblading is a semi-permanent technique that gives you the most natural looking hairs, mimicking your natural hair growth & patterns.
Permanent Eyelash Enhancement
For the eyelash enhancement the color is applied in between the lashes where the hair follicle grows down to the mucosal tissue. This gives the appearance of fuller lashes and lends definition to the eye. This procedure is for anyone who likes a very conservative look. The aftercare is the same as described above in the Eyebrow description.

Permanent Eyeliner
The eyeliner procedure includes the eyelash enhancement, but with a thicker application of color above the lashes. Black/brown is the most “natural” color for an eyeliner. A variety of shades are available depending on the desired look. We also offer other pigment colors such as purple, green & blue. We take a conservative approach with all permanent makeup applications. Our philosophy is “go light go less” we can always darken & thicken but we cannot do the reverse”.

About the Artist
Tammy D’Eramo is a Virginia state licensed & Insured Master Permanent Cosmetic Technician & a Master Aesthetician. She successfully studied, trained & performed procedures among some of the nation’s top instructors. Tammy is certified in Advanced Specialty training & Para-medical training which includes: Areola restoration for Mastectomy & breast reconstruction patients, in which she utilizes a three-dimensional technique. She also holds certifications in CPR, Blood Borne Pathogens & Sanitization & Sterilization techniques. When first starting in the industry in 2002, Tammy worked with Dr. Mark Kanter, a local plastic surgeon. In 2006 she obtained her certification in Aesthetics. In 2008 Tammy was instrumental in providing legislation to the Department of Professional & Occupational Regulations board to enact licensure requirements to help govern the Permanent Cosmetic industry. In 2009 she opened an office located in the City Center area of Newport News. Tammy is referred by several Dermatologists & Plastic surgeons in the Hampton Roads area & would be delighted to provide a complimentary consultation.
