Owner ~ Master Hair Designer
Terri has been a Cosmetologist since 1983. Over the last 25 years, she has worked in and managed Glemby International Salons, the Ritz Internationale Salon and Day Spa and now proudly owns the Body Shoppe Spa. She has trained with Wella, Graham Webb, Matrix, extensive courses through the Vidal Sassoon Academy, Miami, along with numerous others. She is an expert colorist and will gladly consult with you when you are ready for a change. She does complimentary consults for any clients although, since quite busy behind the chair she will refer you to a good fit amongst her staff. A friendly, well educated staff in a very client environment; & add a little fun!  It is the recipe for success at the Body Shoppe Spa!

Jan     
Senior Hair Designer ~ Wax Tech
Jan’s background began as a graduate of the National Beauty School in Dallas TX. Jan has always strived to stay on top of her profession through a steady stream of educational classes. She has studied with: Redken, Paul Mitchell, Wella and Martin Parsons. Jan is a superb stylist at the Body Shoppe, who specializes in Color, Perms and Up-do’s and believes in absolutely making the difference by pampering all of her clients.

Kathy

A top graduate of Luckes Beauty Academy, and former organizer for local and regional Hair Shows, Kathy prides herself as not only performing all facets of cosmetology but also as a total image Consultant. She is a beautiful makeup artist and received her advanced training at the Temptu Studios in New York City. Kathy has been with the Body Shoppe since 2004 and is an expert in visual direction. As a talented stylist she listens to what each client desires giving full attention to making their experience a memorable one. Kathy brings forth the art that makes people feel and see the beauty that she sees in everyone.

Erika has been with the Body Shoppe Spa since April, 2006. Starting off in Guest Relations. which inspired her to pursue a Cosmetology career. Erika studied under the owner, Terri Schacht through our in-depth Virginia State Apprenticeship program. and is now a licensed Cosmetologist.  
Erika loves creating change, enjoys performing haircolor and Natural Nail services. She can take care of you from head to toe!

Melissa is an exceptionally talented, vital and educated Massage Therapist and Cosmetologist, graduating from Luckes Beauty Academy in 03, and Kee business College in 05. As a cosmetologist Melissa loves all areas of her job. We are quite proud that she has won 1^st place in an UP-Do styling competition against all South East Va. schools of Hair design. As a Massage therapist she is a skillful specialist in Deep Tissue and Stretching massage. Chera has been with the Body Shoppe Spa since 2001. She graduated from Virginia School of Hair Design’s in 1999 and studied as a nail technician. She is well trained in Acrylics as well as natural nails and reflexology. She prides herself in her manicure and pedicure techniques and loves to pamper her clients.
Chera went on to attend the Institute of Health and Healing to become an expert in Body and Facial waxing as well as Makeup Artistry. Since her licensure, she has attended advanced courses with Dermalogica, Sothys, and Dr. Grandel.

After graduating from the Academy of Massage Therapy in 2002, Breeze joined our team at the Body Shoppe Spa. A kind sould with a soothing personality comes through to each and every client that she sees. Later, she then began studying for her esthetics' certification. After obtaining her license, she has excelled in this as well. Breeze is very knowledgeable, enjoys all aspects of skincare, body treatments and Massage Therapy. She has had advanced courses in Hot Stone Therapy, Reiki, and Dr. Grandel Skincare. Breeze is a perfectionist and takes pride in everything that she does. We are very lucky to have her.

Joy   
Massage Therapist ~ Esthetician
Joy studied and graduated from the Institute of Health and Healing twice, in 2001 for Massage Therapy and in 2005 for Esthetics. She considers herself a specialist in both Deep Tissue work and Lymphatics. (Lymphatics is a type of massage that can help alleviate symptoms such as fatigue, myalgia and headaches.)  Joy enjoys helping her clients by improving their circulation while reducing stress and muscle fatigue. She also gives a wonderful Euro-Facial and is highly knowledgeable in skin analysis and care.

Joy is a teacher at the Institute of Health and Healing and whole-heartedly believes in continuing education. She also believes in educating her clients on how to maintain lasting results from massage and aiding in their pain relief.

Rebekah   
Massage Therapist
Rebekah, joined our team in 2008. She brings with her another level of qualifications to the Body Shoppe Spa. Rebekah is a graduate of Fuller School of Advanced Massage Therapy. She received her certification in 1995 and went on to receive her Board of Nursing Certification in 1997. Rebekah is highly trained in Swedish, Reflexology, Hot Stone, Prenatal and Peri-Natal Massage, although her love is working with chronic injuries. (ie; back pain, headache/migraine relief, neck/whiplash injuries) Rebekah lives by the motto that “it is all about her client and believes that massage should be directed to what her client needs.”  From reducing stress to treating and helping clients to manage chronic injuries, she can help! She is qualified in Cranio-Sacral Therapy, MyoFascial Release, Injury Assessment & Therapy and worked in a chiropractors office performing therapeutic massage for 3 years. We are fortunate to have Rebekah.

Taylor

Taylor joined our team in October 2008. She is a graduate of Everest College and graduated with highest honors. Taylor has a soothing, peaceful nature that is reflected onto all around her. Taylor’s goal during a massage is to be able to help you carry the positive energy outside of the spa and to reflect that positive energy onto others. Brandon
Massage Therapist
A very capable and qualified Brandon Vertz is now a part of our team since May 2009. Initially schooled through the Virginia Career Institute and certified since 2003, Brandon has further studied  at the Edgar Cayce School of Masso Therapy. In 2005 Brandon branched out and added teaching Massage Therapy. An honored recipient of “CCI Teacher of the Year” in 2007, he has continued teaching to the present while formally practicing his skills at the Body Shoppe Spa. With his advanced knowledge, especially in Thai, Neuro-Muscular, Prenatal and Sports Massages, Brandon proves to be a valuable asset.

Those fortunate to spend time with Brandon enjoy his infectious positive attitude. It is evident he strives to continuously better himself and those in his company.

Wanda
Massage Therapist
A graduate of Beta Tech, Va School of Massage in 2007. We are proud to introduce Wanda as the newest member of the Body Shoppe massage team. Wanda believes that a  "massage  is a nurturing, healing time that enhances overall health and the clients sense of well being".  Her expertise in Therapeutic, Deep Tissue and Swedish massages  make her adept at being the beneficial tool for helping clients feel gently renewed, restored and refreshed.  From a deep tissue sports massage to a gentle elder massage, Wanda is sure to make your experience a fantastic one.

Massage Therapist
Reagan began her journey as a certified  massage technician in 2007 . She is a graduate of the Virginia School of Massage, having shown great focus in the areas of deep tissue work, myofascial release and reflexology. Reagan believes in a personal style of massage therapy, tailored individually to the needs of each and every client, emphasizing the areas where people carry most of their stress. She is wonderfully soothing and talented, and a great addition to our team.

Christal is a master of deep tissue work. She is a very knowledgeable and talented massage therapist. She has studied nursing programs at Rappahannock Community College and a graduate of massage therapy at Key Business College in 2006. She is a master of deep tissue work. Passionate about her industry, she also works as an instructor of Massage therapy. Christal has been recognized for her excellent customer service, and her comforting personality only contributes to her talents.
